CPN Productions is proud to introduce it's new seven part DVD series called Cruising The Pacific Northwest.  Cruising the Pacific Northwest will provide video travel guidance to the boating community in the Pacific Northwest area. Helping to inform boaters about the best places to travel, the best restaurants to eat at, attractions to see, and making them aware of the obstacles they need to avoid.

Each DVD will concentrate on one geographic area, starting with the Gulf Islands for the 2006 season. This will be followed by the San Juan Islands, Puget Sound, Vancouver and the Sunshine Coast, the Upper Strait of Georgia, Desolation Sound and finally the newest cruising hot spot...The Broughtons.

This new Seven-Part DVD Series’ main focus will be on Trip Planning and Cruising Information. With the easy-to-use Island by Island based DVD Menu, boaters can quickly reference vital information about each island.

Point of View Cinematography permits boaters to see exactly what the entrance to that newly found cove looks like from the deck of their boat. Add Aerial Cinematography and Satellite Imagery to help spotlight all the hazards so boaters can make the safest approach possible to their chosen destination.

CPN Productions is producing a cookbook and we are looking for submissions from the boating community. Submit one of your favorite recipes to create this ceative and fun recipe book that will celebrate and reflect the diversity of the Cruising community.

We want everything! Quick snacks, Gourmet meals, Interesting cooking techniques, Tips and Tricks, anything that you can think of that makes cooking while cruising fun and adventurous.The more information you can include the more user friendly your recipe will be. Happy Cooking!

What is CPN Productions?

CPN Productions is the coming together of two avid sailors, both with production experience and both with the idea of showing people what it's like to cruise around the Pacific Northwest.

Thousands of boaters make their way each year to the Pacific Northwest. There is a growing demand for quality information on where to anchor, sights to see and activities to do while on
the water. BC’s coastline covers 27,000 kilometres (almost 17,000 miles), complete with islands, inlets, fjords and beaches – some only accessible by boat.

Our primary initiative is to produce a series of DVD videos that will assist boaters in planning their boating holiday. Included with each video will be a coupon book which will provide valuable discounts from local merchants and restaurants. The first video will cover the Southern Gulf Islands.
